About me
I am a professionally qualified BACP Therapeutic Counsellor and Trauma Specialist, with personal lived experience in each area I support. This depth of understanding enables me to connect with clients on a meaningful level and truly empathise with their journey. I bring patience, warmth, and focused attention to every session, creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely supported. I also have Chronic illness myself, am a parent of 3 amazing Neurodivergent children, and an animal lover and advocate.
At Sam Stone Counselling, I offer compassionate, inclusive therapy for individuals navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. I specialise in working with people who have experienced trauma, are neurodivergent, identify as LGBTQ+, or are living with chronic illness.
My practice also supports those facing issues such as depression, anxiety, abuse, addiction, self-harm, personality disorders, grief and bereavement, and other emotional or psychological difficulties.
I'm committed to creating a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. This is a space where you are heard, accepted, and valued—just as you are.
I know that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, and I want to honour the courage it takes to take this step. Thank you for choosing to prioritise your mental health—you're not alone.

Working collaboratively to create a safe space for you to process, be heard and make the changes you choose.
